The bar is very small: for 10 peopleThe boss from New-Zealand is not very kind...but there are many other cool people!

As a tourist who knows nobody in Nagasaki, I stumbled into this place on Christmas Eve and was instantly made to feel at home with a new family for Christmas. The owner/bartender really tries to make sure everyone feels welcomes and is having a good time.

This is a great little bar run by a really nice guy from New Zealand. A must go to place to have a drink and good company.

Bar IWI is a great place to visit for a nice evening out either with or without friends. The bar is a regular stop for tourist and frequented by locals. In my experience I met a few locals at IWI and was invited for drinks at a nearby music bar. I'll definitely visit again :)

COSPA good It is possible to communicate in English and Japanese

Definitely worth a visit for a good selection of beers and entertaining bartender/kiwi and the various regulars.Even if it's not busy, its very easy to lose yourself in conversation and end up leaving at 2am from a full bar.Nice and cozy. Just go already! Closed Sundays.

It seems that the master is a foreigner and there are many people who are not Japanese, but Japanese is properly communicated and all drinks are safe for 500 yen!

Racist Indian to my left, obnoxious Japanese guy trying to pick up an English chick on my right, and Igor the bartender in front of me. Toilets? Go through a door behind the kitchen, turn right, down the dark narrow alley, step over the homeless guy, and down some steps. Memorise the route for the return trip

A nice guy from New Zealand open this lovely bar. He can speak English and Japanese , so all people can communicate and enjoy here. by the way, the drinks here are nice and cheap.
